Dr. Kelly WoodMD, MSPH
Diplomate American Board of Obesity Medicine
Doctor Wood initially received two Bachelors of Arts in Microbiology and Physiology from Southern Illinois University of Carbondale before matriculating to medical school at Southern Illinois University School of Medicine and earning her Medical Doctorate. From there she completed Family Medicine Residency training at St. Louis University Family Medicine Residency, while at the same time enrolling and completing training for a Masters of Science in Public Health from St. Louis University.
There are two tracks of study for Obesity Medicine Certification. Dr. Wood chose the Certified Medical Education credit hour track for her certification. In this pathway, she had to be in good standing with her Family Medicine Board Certification (completed in 2009), then complete 60 credit hours of obesity medicine related medical education. The bulk of these credit hours were earned through the late February 2021 and received her certification. She has also received training and certification from the Aesthetic Medical Educators Training Program and the Saratoga Laser Institute.
Becky HammonRN, MSN, FNP-C
Becky Hammon is a Family Nurse Practitioner that has been practicing for 10 years and a Registered Nurse for 25 years. She was trained and certified in aesthetics through the National Laser Institute in Chicago in 2019. In 2024, she was certified through a training program with Dr. Mathew McDaniel, through the Fairlawn Aesthetic MD’s Neurotoxin/Filler Training. She also frequently participates in education through various filler and toxin companies that offer training with updated techniques and products.

Our aesthetic medicine clinic has the latest in medical skin treatments. We offer a popular skincare line for purchase from Allergan called SkinMedica. Through SkinMedica, we also offer a line of 3 professional Peels. These include the Illuminize peel, Vitalize peel, and Rejuvenize peel. There are also dermal fillers and wrinkle relaxers offered through Allergan Aesthetics.
Our equipment, purchased through Saratoga industries, includes the Hydraqueen, Legend pro, and the Prism. With this highly advanced medical equipment we are able to effectively and safely treat a variety of skin conditions and offer may treatments such as fine lines and wrinkles, varicosities, acne scars, unwanted hair, skin discoloration, uneven skin tone, body contouring, cellulite reduction, skin rejuvenation, and many more. All of our procedures are done in a clean and welcoming environment where safety is our top priority.
When you come in for an aesthetics procedure at Total Body Renewal, you should expect a partnership to work together for the best aesthetic outcome, whether it be peels, dermal fillers, or one of our Saratoga aesthetic devices. This will start first with a thorough discussion about your concerns. Be honest about your treatment goals. Whether it be acne scars, stretch marks, or wrinkles, we will need to know the exact details of your concerns to address the areas to the best of our ability. We will then need to conduct a though medical history. This will include any medicine, allergies, any current skin infections or outbreaks, remember all this information helps us take better care of you. We will then do an aesthetic exam of the area of interest and come up with a treatment plan specifically tailored to your concerns. We will make sure you are comfortable with the treatment plan and explain how it works. We will also go over any risks and costs. You can ask any questions as we go over the plan, and we will go over the responses in detail. We will then proceed with the procedure following all the latest guidelines.

I recently had a treatment at Total Body Renewal. All of the staff were welcoming and professional. The office is beautiful and the treatment room had a very relaxing, almost spa-like feel to it. Both Dr. Wood and NP Becky Hammon are clearly experienced and knowledgeable. I did not feel pressured to sign up for additional services, as I have at other aesthetic offices, and my results were exactly what I wanted. I'll definitely be back!
